While he was a student at the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire, Keith served as a member of the faculty brass quintet.
Keith is the principal trumpet for the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra (www.EauClaireChamberOrchestra.org) and has performed Bach's Brandenburg #2 and other solos with the chamber orchestra. He has also given several solo recitals.
Keith led a brass quintet, Quintessence, for eight years and now leads a ten-piece brass group, Xbrass. He also played lead and split-lead in the Twin Cities Jazz Orchestra for several years.
Starting in the fall of 2006, Keith has played E-flat soprano cornet in the Sheldon Theatre Brass Band; he has been featured as a soloist on numerous concerts and has contributed several transcriptions to the band's repertoire. Keith is also a free-lance musician, performing primarily in the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin.
