Tim was the featured vocalist on "Blue Moon" and "What a Wonderful World" in the Roseville Big Band's 2001 fund raiser for the Roseville Area High School (RAHS) music program, "Putting On the Ritz". He also sang on "Beer Barrel Polka" and "Ain't Misbehavin'". He reprised his performances of "Blue Moon" and "What a Wonderful World" at the March 9, 2002 and March 1, 2003, "Putting on the Ritz" dances.

He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, and in 2004 he completed his Master of Arts degree in Music Education/Choral at the University of St. Thomas.

Tim joined the RAHS music faculty as lead vocal conductor in 2000, after serving as director of choirs for two years in St. Charles, Minnesota, for grades 7 through 12. He taught there until the end of the 2003-2004 school year, when he accepted a position on the music faculty of Simpson College.

Much of Tim's stage experience has been in opera. He performed with the Des Moines Metro Opera and served in a variety of technical capacities as well. He also performed in more than 15 productions with the Simpson College Opera and has sung in community musical theaters and churches throughout the United States.

Tim was the company manager for the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, a professional choral ensemble based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is also active as a choral clinician in the Midwest.
