Jim Chamberlain

Jim Chamberlain plays trumpet with a red straight mute. Jim used one of the band's matched red straight mutes during the band's March 23, 1993, concert at Edinborough Park.

Music teacher, blood technician, postal worker

Jim played many of the Roseville Big Band's jazz trumpet solos during his years with the band. He also wrote out several of these solos and left them with the second trumpet music for use by his successors.

After earning his B.A. in music education, Jim taught music six years in Canada.

Jim has also played trumpet in several Twin Cities brass quintets.
