Year 2006 Roseville Big Band Public Dances:

Saturday, May 13: Spring Big Band Hangar Dance sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force, in hangar #3 at Fleming Field in S. St. Paul, 8:00-midnight. Click here for directions (instructions and maps, 78K). Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Free swing dance lessons 7:00-7:45 by TC Swing. Special guest appearance by the Rosetones vocal quartet. Dance exhibition by the Swing Cats. Prizes awarded for best dancers, uniforms and 40's dress! Food, snacks, pop, beer & wine available! Sorry, no outside food or beverages. Admission is $10. Saturday, September 16: Bomber's Moon Ball sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force, in hangar #3 at Fleming Field in S. St. Paul, 8:00-midnight. Saturday, November 18: Children's Hospital Association Fifty-seventh Annual Ball at the Crowne Plaza Hotel St. Paul-Riverfront. Enjoy cocktails starting at 6:30, then dance to the Roseville Big Band before dinner when the doors to the Minnesota Ballroom open at 7:30. Special guest appearance by the Rosetones vocal quartet. Enjoy dinner music and dancing to the Roseville Big Band until 10:30. Proceeds from the dinner, dance, live auction, and raffle help benefit Children's Hospitals and Clinics. Tuesday, July 4: Concert in the Park at Roseville Central Park band shell, corner of Lexington and Co. Rd. C, 7:30 p.m., with guest saxophonist Andy Galkiewicz and the Swing Cats swing dancers, followed by the Roseville Community Band at 9:00 p.m. and fireworks at dusk. Roseville Big Band concerts in Central Park are broadcast live by the volunteers of CTV15 on Channel 15, CTV North Suburbs! The concert at Edinborough Park is videotaped for later broadcast by the volunteers of CTV15.

Tuesday, April 4, in the cafeteria at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 1660 W. Co. Rd. B in Roseville, about a block and a half west of Snelling Ave. N., 7:30-9:30 p.m. Part of the group in the choir room on sit-in night.
