Before the dance Cindy and Terry Gardner, representing TC Swing, gave free swing dance lessons to around 200 dancers. The lessons finished at 7:45, followed by dance music until the band was ready for a sound check. At 7:50, Stan Turner, KLBB radio host, introduced the dance and welcomed the dancers.

and a CAF pilot ran up the B25 engines.

BP4. Amazing Grace (solo bagpipe verse, then pipes and band verse), dedicated to all military personnel, past and present
