Tom soloed on baritone sax with the Roseville Big Band on "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" on the August 4, 1992, concert in Central Park. He also sang the tenor part on "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree" and played timpani on Julie Stenberg's composition, "Impressions of the Working World - II", in the band's August 2, 1992, concert at Centennial Lakes plaza in Edina.
A 1992 graduate of Roseville Area High School, Tom played in the RAHS Symphonic Band and jazz ensemble. Tom also sang in the RAHS barbershoppers.
