Laura first performed with the Roseville Big Band at Sara Newman and Andy Gall's wedding reception, October 6, 2007.

As of the summer of 2011, Laura has completed her tenth year on the music faculty of Champlin Park High School. She has directed the Concert Choir, Select Treble Choir, Chamber Choir, 9th Grade Women's Choir, and the Vocal Jazz Ensembles.

She is also the artistic director of Ovation, an annual musical revue, and is active in the American Choral Director's Association.

Laura completed her M.Ed. from St. Mary's University of Minnesota in the spring of 2008.

Prior to Champlin Park High School, Laura taught at Salk Junior High in Elk River. She was also involved with community theater in Elk River, serving as musical director for numerous musical theater productions. You might also remember her as the Narrator in the Elk River Community Theater's 1999 production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
