A 2012 graduate of Roseville Area High School (RAHS), Laura will perform with the Roseville Big Band on the June 19, 2012, concert in Central Park. She will be featured as the flugelhorn soloist on "Rain Check," a composition by fellow RAHS graduate Alex Charland.
Laura played in the RAHS jazz bands four years, including playing in Jazz I three of those years. She also played in the Roseville Wind Ensemble for four years and in both the Brass Quintet and the RAHS Symphony Orchestra her senior year. Laura was also a member of the All-State Symphonic Band and All-Conference Band.
Laura participated in the solo and ensemble contest beginning in her sophomore year and received superior ratings for her performances.
