Jamie Gorski

Jamie played a flugelhorn solo on "I Remember Clifford" on the June 16, 2015, concert in Central Park.

Jamie improvised a trumpet solo on "Oh, Lady Be Good" on the June 16, 2015, concert.

Jamie was a member of the Roseville Area High School class of 2016. She played trumpet in the symphonic band, orchestra, wind ensemble, brass quintet, and the award-winning Jazz I ensemble (the Class AA champion at the UW La Crosse Jazz Festival in 2015) as well as the jazz combo.  Jamie was named an outstanding soloist at the 2015 Jazz Festivals in Eau Claire and La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Jamie was also selected for the All-Conference Orchestra and the All-State Band. She was awarded superior ratings all three years for her solos at the Minnesota Solo and Ensemble Contest.

Jamie plays trumpet at Prince of Peace in Roseville and Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. She also plays in the Minnesota Youth Symphonies and was a board member of Young Musicians of Minnesota.

In the summer of 2015, she participated in the Young Artists Orchestra program at Boston University Tanglewood .

After high school, Jamie enrolled in the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Michael Sachs.

Jamie first performed with the Roseville Big Band on the June 16, 2015, concert at The Rog in Roseville Central Park.
