Eric Peterson

Eric focuses on the phrase. Eric played the smooth low brass part on "I Won't Last a Day without You" at the Roseville Big Band's July 11, 2006, rehearsal.

Eric Peterson is a brass instrument builder and repairman and freelance tubist in the Twin Cities area. He first performed with the Roseville Big Band on the August 1, 2006, concert in Central Park.

Eric plays E-flat tuba in the Sheldon Theatre Brass Band and has been featured as a soloist with the band. He also plays with the Lake Wobegon Brass Band, the Metropolitan Symphony, the Bloomington Orchestra, and several brass quintets around the Twin Cities. He formerly played tuba in the Finnish-American brass septet Ameriikan Poijat, and you can hear him furnishing the low notes on some of their recordings.
