Julie Zarambo began dancing as a child in tap, jazz and ballet. During high school, she performed in dance line and spent summers with her friends working out choreography for the next year. She started ballroom dancing in 1998. Shortly thereafter she began dancing Pro/Am with Robert Foster and has traveled throughout the country competing for the past five years. She ranked in the top ten in the United States in 2001.

Dave Haas started dancing in May of 1998, when he was introduced to East Coast swing in the bars of Minneapolis by his college friends. He immediately developed a love of dancing and began dabbling in many forms of dance including: ballroom, Latin, hip hop, jazz and swing dances. For the first three years, Dave focused mostly on studying Lindy Hop, traveling throughout the country for workshops and events. During that time, he met Julie, and in March of 2001 they began competing together in West Coast swing. David now spends most of his time practicing and studying West Coast swing, which has become his passion.

Currently, Dave and Julie study under Mariusz Olszewski in dance areas of jazz, ballet and body motion, creating their own unique West Coast swing style, and traveling throughout the country competing together.
