Bruce is an enterpreneur, running his own construction company. His extensive vocal performance experience includes producing his own one-man shows of songs from the Great American Songbook and singing in a variety of vocal ensembles: a men's quartet that has performed throughout Minnesota, the Great Northern Union barbershop harmony chorus, and Mixed Company Singers, an a capella ensemble formed in 2019. In the 1990's, he sang in the Old Capitol Chorus in Iowa City.
He first performed with the Rosetones on the July 28, 2020, concert at The Rog in Central Park. His first performance with the Roseville Big Band was the June 15, 2021, concert at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre.
