In addition, in March the band bought a Holton Model TR181 double-in-line-rotor
bass trombone, paying for it out of the fund-raising account. According to Glen
Newton's 3/10/92 "Proposal to Purchase bass Trombone," The Brasswind
in South Bend, Indiana, quoted a price of $1210 on 3/9/92, in comparison with
the list price of $2100 + shipping.
