Saturday, May 19: Spring Big Band Hangar Dance sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force, at Fleming Field in S. St. Paul, 8:00-midnight. Click here for directions (instructions and maps, 78K). Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Free swing dance lessons 7:00-7:45 by TC Swing. Special guest appearance by the Rosetones vocal quartet and the Minnesota State Fire Service Memorial Pipe Band. Dance exhibitions by the Swing Cats. Around 9:00, listen to the run-up of the engines of Miss Mitchell, the CAF's World War II B-25 bomber! Prizes awarded for best uniforms and 40's dress! Food, snacks, pop, beer & wine available! Sorry, no outside food or beverages. Admission is $10. For more information, call 651-455-6942.
